To personalize your colors is to know your Season. We use the Seasons as a way to describe which colors look best on you based on eye and hair color and skin tone. To determine your Season, Color Me Beautiful moves you through a two-step process. First, you will learn Warm and Cool. Second, you learn whether you are Light or Deep. Once you have completed these two steps you are there.

Complementary colors are opposites, and if you look at a color wheel, they are directly across from each other. While complementary ones may seem kind of mysterious to a novice, you just have to bring to mind Christmas to find a great example that is familiar to everyone, red and green.By simply making these colors a little paler, you can make this color palette work really well. Color tones are important, because rust and moss, while still being red and green, do not scream 'Christmas'. If your choice of tones is bold, you will create an eye popping design. However, it is common to get off course.

PRIMARY COLORS. The primary colors are red, yellow and blue. These colors are your base colors from which all other colors come from.

These techniques will help the lesser quality Paint Brush, as well as the best, making your experience with the tool that's been around for centuries, a pleasant one. Before you open a gallon of paint, the Paint Brush should be at your side, next to the can. Taking the Paint Brush by the handle, thoroughly soaking it in clean tap water before you dip it in the latex paint (soaking in mineral spirits if using Alkyd or Oil paint) will enhance your brush cleaning later on. Getting the excess water or mineral spirits out of the brush is going to be the next question, as it would be mine, if I did not know it. When using Latex paints, hold the Paint Brush firmly by the end of the handle, tapping the head of the Paint Brush on the end of your shoe or boot, giving a few good forceful whacks. Paint Brush is dry enough to dip in paint, but wet enough for an even flow of paint, and easier cleanup later on. This can be repeated if Paint Brush shows signs of drying out before the painting job is completed. If using Alkyd paints, try just blot drying with clean rag, as whacking on the end of your boot will cause a bit of splatter.

WHERE DOES COLOR COME FROM? Our beautiful world of color is only possible because of the solar spectrum. You can certainly do your best to mimic natural sunlight with today's technology and they have done a pretty fine job of that with full spectrum lighting. But even full spectrum lighting is not as true as sunlight. One only needs to spend a day painting outdoors to see how your color pops out at you under natural sunlight when compared to indoor lighting.

How often do we think about how a certain color has influenced our mood in the morning or in the evening? Why do we choose a certain going-out outfit by its color or choose a specific color bed set out of 5-10 different sets? Most likely we explain it with: "I just like it". But what actually lies behind it? What are these various and so different from each other colors of our life?
